Hi,
My name is Coach Felts. I coach Football, Basketball, Track and teach Science II in the 8th grade here at Eastland Middle School. I taught 4 years at Stephenville but I am on my 20th year here at Eastland. My family and I really love it here and our place out near Lake Leon. My wife teaches right next door to me and I have a 15 year old boy that is a Freshman this year and a 12 year old that is in the fifth grade. Both are very smart and athletic and of course just like their "Dad"!

In Science, we spend quite a bit of time in the lab the 1st 6 weeks learning how to use lab tools, measure in metrics, and perform experiments. Then we move on to things like Astronomy, Geology and Meteorology. We just finished with Astronomy and the kids are researching and building a model of the International Space Station. We always have a good group of 8th graders here at Eastland and I am proud to be a part of their lives.
